End Of The Road: How Money Became Worthless

In 2008 the world experienced one of the greatest financial turmoils in modern history. Markets around the world started crashing, stock prices plummeted, and major financial institutions, once thought to be invincible, started showing signs of collapse. Governments responded quickly, issuing massive bailouts and stimulus packages in an effort to keep the world economy afloat. While we’re told that these drastic measures prevented a total collapse of our system, a growing sense of unease has spread throughout the population. In the world of finance, indeed in all facets of modern life, cracks have started to appear. What lies ahead as a result of these bold ‘money printing’ measures? Was the financial crisis solved, or were the problems merely ‘kicked down the road?’

Ron Paul Tells Bernanke He Killed The Dollar, Silver Coin In Hand

Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke had an interesting morning over on Capitol Hill, facing the ire of Ron Paul and receiving Democratic praise from Barney Frank. Bernanke was testifying before the Committee on Financial Services, where he said the economic recovery continues but remains frail, but was put on the spot by Ron Paul who pulled out a silver eagle and accused him of debasing the currency and destroying America’s wealth. Ron Paul was in full campaign mode. So was Barney Frank. Bernanke was caught in the middle. In what was supposed to be a Q&A session, the Fed chief essentially sat down and listened to one side bash him and the other love him. Barney Frank took the floor after some softballs by Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus, praising Bernanke’s tenure as Fed Chairman and pointing to continuing job growth. It was Ron Paul, though, who took the day. In what is usually the most heated and interesting exchange of Bernanke’s excursions to Congress, the Fed Chairman was f...

The Money Masters

Image
THE MONEY MASTERS is a historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers.

Money As Debt

Image
Money As Debt is a fast-paced and highly entertaining animated feature by artist & videographer, Paul Grignon. It explains today's magically perverse DEBT-MONEY SYSTEM in terms that are easy to understand. Check out his website: http://www.moneyasdebt.net/ Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal, there is no human relation between master and slave. Debt- government, corporate and household has reached astronomical proportions. Where does all this money come from? How could there BE that much money to lend? The answer is...there isn't. Today, MONEY IS DEBT. If there were NO DEBT there would be NO MONEY. If this is puzzling to you, you are not alone. Very few people understand, even though all of us are affected.

Gerald Celente talks to Alasdair Macleod

Image
Gerald Celente, Founder of http://www.trendsresearch.com/, and Alasdair Macleod, of the GoldMoney Foundation, talk about his work at the Trends Research Institute. Gerald talks about himself and how he started covering global trends. He talks about his experience in politics and how he became a political atheist. They talk about the role of fiat money in creating our economic problems. Gerald Celente explains that he has been looking at gold since the beginning of the bull market, he missed the low of 250$ per ounce by only 25$. They talk about 1987, the bubble of the 1990s and the money printing that caused it. They talk about the lowering of interest rates after 2001. Gerald calls it cheap money: 'the more you print the cheaper it gets'. He says that digital dollars are not worth the paper that they are not printed on. They talk about the panic of 2008 and how every central bank started printing massively to "keep the Ponzi scheme going". They talk about gold an...

How A Stimulus Package Works

It is a slow day in the small Colorado town of Pumphandle and streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody is living on credit. A tourist visiting the area drives through town, stops at the motel, and lays a $100 bill on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs to pick one for the night. As soon as he walks upstairs, the motel owner grabs the bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher. The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to retire his debt to the pig farmer. The pig farmer takes the $100 and heads off to pay his bill to his supplier, the Co-op. The guy at the Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit. The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner. The hotel proprietor then places the $100 back on the counter so the traveler will not suspect...
